The Newton Centre Ice Skating Rink is a NewtonSERVES project of Newton Community Pride and underwritten by generous Newton Centre merchants and residents - including Cambridge Savings Bank, Platinum Sponsor of NewtonSERVES.
Newton resident Joe Verdone managed the construction.
Special thank you to the Newton Fire Department, Public Works Department and the Newton Parks and Recreation Department for all of their help.
Also to Alderman Vicki Danberg and Ruth Barnett, President of Newton Community Pride for all of their help in ensuring the success of this project.
