NewtonSERVES Week of Community Service
NewtonSERVES was founded 16 years ago by a visionary group of Newton residents who have helped community service become a way of life in Newton. Please support the 16th annual NewtonSERVES Week of Community Service beginning all day, Sunday, May 1.
This will be the 16th year when 1,000 Newton residents again come together to serve Newton to get our parks and open spaces ready for Spring, to spruce up our schools and not for profit institutions and to contribute food to the three Newton Food Pantries.
Won’t you help continue this wonderful tradition?
To date, NewtonSERVES boasts:
- 1,000+ volunteers each NewtonSERVES x 15 years=150,000+ people participating
- 60 project sites organized each year x 15 years=900 sites benefiting
- 7,000 volunteer hours each NewtonSERVES x 15 years=105,000 hours of volunteerism
- $150,000 worth of services provided each year to Newton x 15 years=$2,250,000
We ask for your tax-deductible contribution now to help us support our Newton.
Each level of sponsorship (see below) provides promotional opportunities for you – as an individual, a business or agency- to be recognized citywide and on-line. Please respond by March 2 and you will be listed on 12,000 flyers, on the NewtonSERVES website and in the NewtonSERVES Event Program Book.
Thank you very much for helping us all to keep Newton the great community that it is!
